Photos of Toronto Island
Our house, winter. Note carts in front of house. No matter what the weather, that's how we transport groceries. furniture, watermelons and newborn children. No cars, no driving up to the front door. Carts!
The only way for us to get to and from the city is a 12-minute ferry ride across a bay in Lake Ontario . Our home is a 10 minute walk to the island ferry docks, five minutes by bike. In this photo, the ferry is heading toward the city from our island.
The city of Toronto from the Island. From our relatively quiet, peaceful island, we have the best view of the city.
